Cute Cabin 30 mins from Nashville

This place could a few more kitchen supplies. We had to buy a 9 x 13 pan.really benefit from so wooden spoons, tongs etc.

Loved the location, the decking and outdoor lighting. We would definitely book this stay again.

We loved the location. Its about 25 mins from downtown Nashville. Only a couple of complaints...mouse poop on the bathroom towels, in the kitchen and next to the fireplace. The refrigerator was broke and just before the checkin they let us know. They brought a mini fridge and freezer. It froze all our food. We also couldnt fit much in it and there was 4 adults. So we had to keep running to the store.

Management company is very responsive and took care of any issues. Location is a secluded spot in the mountains and sufficient as a place to rest after a day out and about in the surrounding areas. Conveniently located between Nashville and Mammoth National Park.

I’ll start with the pros for this house. It was a super cute house and a beautiful area. The drive there was gorgeous and it felt very secluded and private. Our kids had a lot of fun exploring the woods around the house! The beds were comfy and the sheets were very soft. The cons: when we opened the door to the house we were overwhelmed by a moldy/musty smell. It seemed the owners were aware of this as they had all of the ceiling fans going. The smell never went away during our stay. Under the kitchen sink was very dirty and full of chemicals, but also moldy so that might have been a contributing factor? For being a “no pet’s allowed” house, there was dog hair everywhere. Thankfully I brought my cordless vacuum along and got a lot of it swept up, but there was hair on the kitchen counters, and big wads of hair under the beds. Luckily, we don’t have any pet allergies or else it would have been a big problem. I think most smoke alarms worked, but the one at the top of the stairs was missing completely. Just had the wires hanging down. There were a few things that were broken/missing. The buttons on the fireplace were pushed so far down that it was hard to figure out how to get it to work, almost all of the panels on the bathroom sink doors were missing. We made all of our meals at the house, and made do with what we had, but we missed a full set of measuring cups. Overall, I would stay there again, but I would bring my cordless vacuum again and an air purifier!
